Catching A Cowboy's Eye (Reissue)
Garrett Cole's life is nice and quiet. Just the way he likes it since his divorce. When that pickup truck pulls into the yard carrying the new House Manager for Three Rivers Ranch? Garrett finds his world upended like he got tossed off a bucking bronc. The little gal that gets out catching his attention right quick. The problem being is he has no idea what to do about it.
A New York City transplant, Helen Arnold has reached Nirvana arriving at her new job. A ranch in the middle of nowhere Wyoming, with no neighbors for miles. Best of all, no one knows who she is. This job offer presented her the chance to start her life over. It absolutely is no hardship to leave behind a deceitful ex-husband and his secret life. Well, not so secret anymore after having made page one of the New York Post, much to her embarrassment.
Upon settling in at Three Rivers, she finds herself contending with a brooding cowboy among other things. Whatever. The only excitement in her life right now is wrangling her cranky home care patient. The keeping of the main house for him and his sons, not really a challenge compared to a hospital floor, but it keeps her busy.
The men at Three Rivers treat her well. They set out to prove friends are possible knowing she needs some to go with her new home. Her last group having been back stabbers when it came down to choosing. Here, she has begun some much-needed healing. Emotionally.
When Helen's ex-husband finds her, dragging her into his mess, her life is endangered. Garrett finds there is no choice but for him to get involved. He is lost trying to get his nerve up to tell her how he feels towards her. It seems the little city gal caught this cowboy's eye roping him right in.
With trouble circling in closer endangering Helen, is Garrett going to get the chance to do something about it before it's too late?

The Light at the Tunnel's End
The moment of the cars colliding throws Lucy Cuse screaming into darkness. Now she just wants to be left alone. The accident took everything from her. It took her job and her sight., but most of all, it took her independence.
A move to an ‘assisted living’ facility for ‘her safety’ is out of the question. Lucy is not going anywhere she doesn’t want to. No one is making her!
Multiple times per week she goes to physical therapy sessions. She hates it but if she goes and does ‘just enough’, it keeps the well-meaning at bay.
Jan, who is recovering from his own horrifying accident three stories up, has been watching Lucy for weeks. She tugs at him, and he can’t explain why. When he is asked to “lend a hand” to motivate her, he reluctantly agrees. The blind leading the cripple? There is joke in there he is sure.
Lucy is struck dumb by Jan’s offering of friendship. He lets her cry and scream, while he doesn’t tell her she is wrong to feel the way she does. In a way, he has walked a mile in her shoes. Even if it is on crutches.
Lucy takes his offer of friendship and slowly discovers she is still a woman. Jan in turn finds himself falling for the beautiful, yet stubborn woman who truly believes she will get her sight back.
When hearts get involved the rules change. Each want what they want, but is the light at the tunnel’s end that train each of them has already encountered? Or will they find their way out of the tunnel and into the light that awaits them, together?

Greetings,

As a designer of eye candy book covers appreciated by women everywhere, should I put you down for the Marine cover when/if it crosses my desk?

If so, please supply a shirtless photo of yourself, or your team, for audition purposes.

Miss Jakes,

If you send one first we can negotiate. Hell, you might get a whole platoon (it is not a team), of volunteers.

You have humor I appreciate. How about passing some time as a pen pal to cheer up a deployed soldier?

Regards,
Victor

Complete Rescue Package

Deirdre relocated to escape. Her career is so tattered there is barely enough left to say she has a career.
The icing on her toppling cake is her car dying in a storm on a bridge ramp. With no idea where she is in the cold, wet dark, she tries to find someone to rescue her. The rapping on her window availing her a complete rescue package who happened by at the right time.
Driving home at the end of his shift, Christian barely made out the car’s outline by the guard rail. Hitting his lights, he stops to see if the driver is still with the car. The frazzled woman he finds, relieved to see him and his truck.
Hooking her car up, also hooks up his attraction. He can’t explain the drive to protect her even without knowing the complete details of her life. She did a mini-therapy session that he honestly thought was funny. He has so much of his own stuff to deal with, it’s nice to see he is not the only one.
Deirdre will say she needs to meet people, but she will ignore the jump start her libido shot her sister makes.
As a romance cautiously blossoms, so does trouble. Someone doesn’t want them to get together. The question being who?

This story was previously released. The characters and story will remain intact. There will, however, be lots of story added. I wrote this as a 'newby writer' and I hope the new version shows my growth, making it even better.
